A build up of redundant dead skin cells causes a thickened upper layer of our epidermis. The skin may appear dull and this can often lead to other unwanted conditions including black head formation, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, premature ageing and fine lines etc.

A chemical peel has many benefits due to the exfoliating properties of Alpha- and Beta Hydroxy Acids. AHA’s, including Mandelic Acid, shows excellent results in improving the production of collagen, reducing hyperpigmentation and exfoliation of our top dead skin cells. It allows our skin to become more flexible and produces a radiant glow.

Beta Hydroxy Acids, including Salicylic acid, has great benefits in fading of hyperpigmentation, reducing fine lines and acne. Its powerful antioxidant and anti inflammatory benefits makes this an all rounder, but especially recommended for environmentally damaged skin, melasma and acneic conditions.

At No Filter Laser and Aesthetics, we make use of DermaFix Cosmeceutical Skincare and Professional Treatments. We offer a range of professional chemical peels, including a mini peel which can be done all year round. Our more intensive treatments and chemical peels are offered through out the winter months, due to summer sun exposure.

Please contact us to find out which treatment is most suitable for you and the preparation needed prior to your peeling procedure.
